Happy Stats

Naomi is taking a holiday while she and her family move house, so just Anna's happy stats for today.

My little moments of Happy:

• Receiving a box full of geeky goodies for Declan that his daddy ordered online, including a Star Trek Captain's T-shirt!
• Admiring all the amazing details in Naomi's new Teacher Mice. Check out the tiny little calculator that the Math Teacher has!
  
• Celebrating the 9 year anniversary of starting a relationship with my wonderful hubby.
• Interviewing our friend Nancy for the first of our Featured Artist Interviews (To be published on Tuesday)
• Meeting up with Nancy at her home, seeing all her beautiful paintings and hanging out with her and her lovely husband Cor, who took some amazing photos of Declan.
• Being inspired to start painting again.
  
• Completing a big Wholesale order.
  

What made you happy this week?

Things that made Anna happy this week:

• Getting a nice big wholesale order
  
• Reading "The Power of Now"
• Hubby taking Friday off work to spend with us
• Declan's first taste of cucumber
  

Things that made Naomi happy this week:

• Going to the cinema with my family to see Toy Story 3 (it rocks!!)
• Spending the day with my Ma on her birthday
• Getting a chance to catch up a little with the European Street Team chatter on Etsy
• Declan and Vincent "chatting" on the webcam! Can't wait for them to meet in person again very soon :-)

Things that made Anna happy this week:

• Combing out my dreadlocks and getting a nice new haircut
• Declan's first tooth coming through
• Receiving another package from Naomi full of amazing little mice
• One of those new mice was a gift for me: a little Anna Mouse!
  

Things that made Naomi happy this week:

• Making two perfect little chef mice!
• Spending lots of time with my happy little family.
• Putting together and sending my first mouse parcel from here in the UK.
• Making good use of Karyn from releasesbyrufydoof's awesome Wednesday Wisdom advice from a couple of weeks ago, and putting vaseline around the nozzle of my glue tube to stop the glue blocking it up! Genius!
• Releasing Spidey and Venom into the big wide world ;-)

• Celebrating my 3rd wedding anniversary with a nice lunch out together and a wander about Amsterdam shopping for each other
• Publishing our first Monthly Newsletter
  
• Making a Zombie Mouse army
• Getting to 999 sales in The House of Mouse... Just ONE more to go!
  

Things that made Naomi happy this week:

• Sending off my second batch of mice to Anna in Holland. (There are some exciting new characters coming!)
• Splashing down the log flume with my stepdaughter.
• Watching Vincent take one tiny first step on his own, before collapsing to the floor!
  
• Interviewing Alfonso the Artist Mouse for our new Newsletter! (The interview will also be on our blog soon).

Weekly Happy Stats

Things that made Anna happy this week:

• Making Gizmo the Mogwai Mouse
• Finding a super fun hair stick to add to my collection of mouse-themed accessories (see pic below)
• Making bread from scratch for the first time, the results were edible and it made the house smell amazing. I love the smell of fresh bread.
• Watching Declan gobbling up his favourite food. We couldn't shovel it in fast enough!
  

Things that made Naomi happy this week:

• Having lots of fun with my stepdaughter while she stays with us for 9 whole days!!
  
• Taking Vincent to the zoo for the very first time with his big sister, seeing the elephants and lions and other exciting animals.
• Making my first Chewbacca mice, laughing and laughing at how totally adorable he is and feeling desperate to make loads more!
• Launching my idea of Wednesday Wisdom and seeing some lovely people taking part in its very first week!
• Hearing that Anna managed to get a good night's sleep ;-)

• Seeing all of Naomi's wonderful Pulp Fiction Mice get listed in our store
• Painting again - for the first time in 2.5 years - and enjoying every moment
• Working out our accounts for the month and discovering we made a profit
• Playing peek-a-boo with Declan
  
• Booking plane tickets to visit Naomi and my parents in the UK
  

Things that made Naomi happy this week

• My not-so-little Vincent's first birthday!
• Getting a letter from my beautiful stepdaughter, Finlay.
• Listing The Gimp Mouse (I love him!).
• Getting my very first paycheck from The House of Mouse.
• Bringing my favourite houseplant into my studio to keep me company as I create :-)

Things that made Anna happy this week

• Taking long walks in the summer sun
• Getting back to the gym for the first time since Declan was born, and dreaming of the body shape I will have in a few months.
  
• Receiving all 23 of Naomi's first mice and looking at the little details in each one.
  
• Watching Declan learning to sit up
• Finally tackling the jungle that was our garden and now enjoying it clear and tidy again.

Things that made Naomi happy this week

• Watching Vincent boogie to Black Sabbath!
• Seeing my very first mice for sale in our Etsy shop.
• Spending a wonderful day at a course with my sister-in-law, Wendy, and meeting lots of new and interesting people.
• Getting my studio properly organised with little drawers for my growing selection of ribbons.
• Inventing and creating Spider-Mouse's costume (keep them peeled, he's coming soon!)

Weekly Happy Stats

Things that made me happy last week, by Anna:

• Watching Naomi creating her very first new mouse designs for our store.
• Listening to my baby boy discover "Ba" and "Ga" sounds.
  
• Making up a new batch of Naked Mice which are gazing up at me waiting for their destinies.
• Albert Einstein Mouse's moustache.
• An hour long cuddle/nap together with my baby.
• Friday night dinner at the Hard Rock Café.

Things that made me happy last week, by Naomi:

• Sending my first batch of mice to Anna.
• Writing my first Creative Space blog post and really "joining in" with The House of Mouse business.
• Sewing, sewing, sewing!!
• Spending the weekend with my gorgeous stepdaughter.
• Watching my friendship with Nancy grow, and being promised such a sweet gift of a beautiful pendant of her artwork!
• Going two full days without changing a single pooey nappy!!! Not sure how I managed that! ;-)
