Lucy the Knitting Mole

I'm so excited about the new moles that have arrived at The House of Mouse this week. Their little feet and hands make me giggle, and there is something about the black and pink colour combination that I just love. The moles join the hedgehogs as new creatures to come and live with the mice in our shop. I hope you like them! 

Lucy the Mole loves to knit! She's always clicking her needles, making something new. Nothing makes her happier than a new ball of yarn and a whole day to sit and knit! She would make a great gift for anyone with a healthy yarn obsession!

Naomi and I have been working in secret for week on these new hedgehog characters to join our store! We are so excited to finally list them in The House of Mouse. Ray the mouse dressed as a star

Ray wants to be the star of the show and has put on a little star shaped costume!  We think his little mouse bottom sticking out at the back is just toooo funny hehehe. Wouldn't be be adorable on your Christmas tree this year?

Ray will also be part of our large Nativity set, some of the mice for this are yet to be released. Watch this space for them, they are coming soon!

What a pair of cheeky monkeys!

We are a bit mad on monkeys here at home (as well as mice!), so when we discovered we were having a boy it seemed natural to give his nursery a monkey/jungle theme. I have been slowly picking up fun things from Etsy to decorate his room with ever since. I think my favorite little ornament has to be "monkey friends" by my sweet friend Maria from HeartshapedCreations.


My little monkeys arrived in the mail yesterday evening beautifully packaged, and although I didn't think it was possible they are even cuter than their photographs. I am amazed by all the little details that Maria put into them! If you don't already know about HeartshapedCreations then I highly recommend you visit her store, she has wall-to-wall cuteness for you to enjoy.

Cody the Computer Geek Mouse

Cody lives for perl, php and regex. Nothing gets him more excited than grokking the gimp! Cody's hero is Ratbert and his one wish would be for caffeinated cheese!

Aragorn Mouse

Aragorn mouse is the rightful heir to the throne of Gondor, but has chosen exile to wonder the wilds. He has brown curly hair and stubble on his chin. He comes dressed in leather and cloth holding the reforged sword Anduril with which he will fight to save Middle Earth and reclaim his throne.

Disaster!

Total, complete and utter disaster. I have lost my mouse book. I had this wonderful little journal that I bought from Kreativlink that I kept all my mouse ideas in, and its gone!


I have searched the whole house for it, I think I must have left it in a café. Someone is going to be very confused when they open it.

It just has lists of ideas for mice I want to make like:
Dalek Mouse
Mouse Chess Set
Terminator Mouse
Fireman Mouse
Zodiac Mice
etc...
For pages and pages and pages! Some of them were suggestions other people had made to me too, and now all the ideas are gone.

Can you help me make a new list by suggesting mice you would like to see in my store? Fortunately I have another of Kreativlink's journals that I can put the new ideas in, this one will not be leaving the house!
