2000th Sale Giveaway

Today we reached our 2000th Sale on Etsy! *happy happy dance* and we want to celebrate just with our fans on this special occasion. So even though we are already running our "Win a Mouse every Month" giveaway, we're going to give away another mouse, just for our fans.

This giveaway is special because we won't advertise it outside of our fan circle (facebook fans, twitter followers and newsletter subscribers). Normally we advertise on other blogs and websites in order to encourage new people to look at our shop, but this giveaway is just for you. We won't ask you to tell your facebook friends about it or tweet a link to your twitter followers; It's not a marketing exercise, it's a genuine thank you to all of you who have supported and encouraged us, and to those who have been our friends over the last 4 and a half years on Etsy.

We would like to invite you to our virtual party to celebrate 2000 Etsy sales! To enter this giveaway just tell us what you bring with you to the party and a fun way you will celebrate with us. The best answer will win an ornament of their choice from our store, plus a few extra surprise items in your parcel.

Thank you again to everyone! We hope you enjoy the party.

Anna, Naomi and all the Mice

Competition Closed.

    1. Oooh Cheese! The mice rush in and start nibbling right away. Sir Eeksalot the Knight mouse climbs right onto the top of the cheese mountain, he tries to claim it with a flag made from a toothpick and a piece of paper napkin.

Cookies in an attempt to get all the mice to come home with me. If you give a mouse a cookie.....

    1. The plate of cookies is met with high pitched squeaks from all the mice! Some of them drop the cheese brought by Polina and race over to grab a nibble. Your cookies are so delicious that several mice promise to come home in your pockets so they can eat more every day. (oooh they are going to be fat little mice!)

    1. What a lovely idea ioana! The mice are entranced by the nightingales and sit with their little mouths open as they sing. Then Harper the Carol singer mouse tries to join in and before you know it all the mice are squeaking away. I'm afraid they aren't very in tune, but they do look like they are having a lot of fun!

  8. What a lovely idea! I would bring some pancakes with goat cheese and a load of sparkling champagne, carried by my friend, Mr Hedgehog, in his wheelbarrow :) Mr Hedgehog is quite lonely this time of year, because Mr Bear left for a week to join in a raspberry-picking competition.

  11. What a great and cheerful party it is so far. I am bringing a bottle of nice red vine and my favourite goat cheese with cranberries. And now dancing around with all little mice.

    ReplyDelete

    1. The mice quickly dive into the goat cheese and cranberries! Some of the more adventurous ones are very interested in the wine, but Naomi and I carefully hide it away to enjoy ourselves, after all the mice are far too young for wine! haha. We think it is delicious though! Thank you so much.

  12. CHEESE! Lots of cheese for all of the sweet little mice that will be joining the party!
I would fill a picnic basket with cheese. Wine and crackers. On e all of the goodies were gone I then would have plenty of room to take out the linen napkins and fix a comfy bed for my mouse from the house of mouse. I would fix a fluffy pillow and prepare the basket as my painterly mouse' new home.
That is exactly how I would celebrate with the house of mouse. Lisa jane

  25. Anna, I would bring my husband! We were in Holland for the first time ever last month and we were going to drive to Amsterdam but didn't have time. Next year, we are going there. So perhaps then we can visit you and see where all those mice are born. If you had a shop I would do just that.

  26. I don't know about the mice where you are, but the ones in my neck of the woods do love getting a peanut butter treat, so I have to say I'd bring along some of my homemade peanut butter fudge...I mean, if they like the PB to start, why wouldn't they love it mixed with sugar?!?! I know we all would! Congrats on your 2000th sale! I just adore all of your wonderful little mice!!

  28. Hello there! This sounds like a fantastic reason to celebrate!

I'd bring my pet rats to work as servers and barstaff. They're always happy to help, although the odd nibble may disappear their way too! And to help celebrate they'll learn to sing just like the mice from Bagpuss.

Hope you all have a wonderful time!

  36. Mouse-shaped jelly (you NEED jelly), a game of mouse trap, a cheese cake - that's a cheesecake, shaped like a wedge of cheese - a cat detection system (just in case someone wants to crash the party!) a disco ball and some jokes. Probably from penguin wrappers. No need for music, we already have the Beatles!

I'll omit the mouse costumes for now ;P
