    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  62. Last night I had a dream that the Frida Mouse was on my Frida shrine. I woke up thinking, hmmm. Do you have a Freud or Jung Mouse around to help me resolve what that dream might mean?

    ReplyDelete
  63. I find myself becoming obsessed with this whole Win A Mouse thing. The slightest mousey movement anywhere on my horizon triggers it. Frida, I think. Axel. And now you've gone and thrown Boba Fett into the mix. This is what happens when you have a range of interests and yet no Sherlock Holmes mouse to weed through the suspects...

    ReplyDelete
  64. You have to admit a Sigmund Freud mouse with a couch, etc., would be a great addition to this entire mouse world. Some people don't strike me as good mouse material, but, then again, there's that whole Boba Fett thing...

    ReplyDelete
  65. Congratulations to you on your book feature! If anyone deserves a showcase in a Starwars Memorabilia book, it's you!

Still contemplating Frida. Darwin Mouse would probably say it's a clear sign that she is the fittest for the environment in my studio, where I spend 90% of my time. If there were a Freud Mouse who knows what HE would say, but I'm sure it would be perverted...

    ReplyDelete
  66. The 1 inch Peeking Mouse pin-back button is so cute and will go well with my new scarf!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  67. After watching "The Silence Of The Lambs" tonight, and even interrupted by commercials and censored stupidly it was STILL just as creepy as ever, even with the stuff you can quote by heart all over the place, CREEPY, I briefly thought Ah. I'd like the Hannibal Lechter Mouse. With some fava beans. And a nice chianti.

But then my mind returned to Frida and Axel and the weird torn sentiment I experience whenever I picture the notion of me actually winning a mouse and then having to decide... Hannibal wouldn't have that problem. He'd know exactly which one. And what he'd have with them.

    ReplyDelete
  68. I love how creative and imaginative you are with the stories of the mouses and the outfits you have come up with . This is very cool !

    ReplyDelete
  69. The Frida Kahlo mouse is a very cute idea . Love her outfit !

    ReplyDelete
  70. I posted about your giveaway on my blog -
    http://va-internationalgiveawaysblog.blogspot.com/2009/11/house-of-mouse-giveaway.html

  71. We had a mouse problem once in an office I worked in. My boss thought it would be a good idea to set up traps. I did not cotton to this, since they were not humane in any sense. I thought it might be a better idea to, say, quit leaving food around to tempt the little guys to come to the office in the first place. My boss ignored me, and had the nerve to put a trap in my cubicle space. I took an old computer mouse, stuck ears and mouse face on it, and stuck it in the trap. And I sabotaged the rest of the traps.

I'm just sayin'. I like mice. One of yours would have a good home here. Like, oh, the Axel the Executioner Mouse, or Frida.

    Congrats on the 8,000 hearts!

    ReplyDelete
  72. I am staring at your mice some more, and now I realize it is not a Thor mouse, it is a Lord of the Rings mouse. But it still looks like Thor to me, and that is probably what I would tell anyone who asked me. I can visualize the conversation:
    "Who is that?"
    "Why that's Thor, of course."
    "But Thor isn't a mouse."
"This is true. Except in this case he is."
    "But it doesn't make sense."
"Check out this Boba Fett mouse."
    "Oooooh! Neat!"
Yeah, that's how the conversation would go.

    ReplyDelete
  73. so cute! love them! i'm cracking up over here looking at them all!

    ReplyDelete
  74. Wooooooooow,I love Frida Kahlo Mouse.
    Fantastic!!!!
    Thanks for this chance,
    Hugs

    ReplyDelete
  75. I keep trying for the Dr. Who Mouse.

    ReplyDelete
  76. My pick today from your lovely shop is the Ninja Mouse.

    ReplyDelete
  77. After due consideration I think the Frida Mouse would be the most welcome here in the studio. Already I have: a Frida table, a Frida altar, a Frida nicho, and a coffin with a judas skeleton on top and Frida inside. There are Fridas everywhere. A Frida Mouse would not only make perfect sense in such an environment, but then I could make a Diego Trap to menace her from nearby.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Oh I'm not claiming to be the only person in the world to have a Frida obsession, to the point of having altars and coffins and such. Not any more than I would claim to be the only person in the world to have, say, a fully equipped dungeon that really needed an executioner mouse, complete with decapitated mouse head. Or a library with a science section that could handle a Darwin Mouse, or a library with four shelves of magickal texts that could handle, I don't know, Thor, or Snape, or... I don't know. The bellydancer mouse. That's kinda magickal.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Did you ever read the strange book "The Mouse And His Child?" That would make an interesting mouse related design.

    ReplyDelete
  80. There's actually a picture in Frida Kahlo's diaries, which she drew when she was really really angry at Diego over something she probably should have expected of him, but in any case, it's a black and white charcol sketch and it would make a great backdrop for the Diego Mouse Trap to go with the Frida Mouse. I know I have an old wooden mousetrap around here somewhere, it's probably broken, it should be perfect... hmmmm.

Oh, did I mention, yes, I think the Frida Mouse is pulling ahead of even Axel, and that's impressive, because, well, when it comes to pulling A HEAD (insert drumroll/cymbal clash here), ya'd think he'd be winning. But it seems to be Little Fridita Mousita.

    ReplyDelete
  81. I like the charles Darwin mouse most - would be a great gift to my bf. Although it is hard to decide, your mice are all adorable :)

When I am looking them everytime i am feeling "still I am a child" "still I can dream" "still I am living"

Keep to great work and lovely heart

I am so happy for you ...

    You are a Genius-mouse-maker!!!
    I like your blog!
    See you soon

    ReplyDelete
  98. I'm having a spot of ginger tea, and thinking hmm, now, Axel would probably be the kind of mouse who could get behind some ginger tea, after a hard day of thwacking off heads. On the other hand, Frida would probably like ginger tea too. Spiked with tequila, perhaps, but nonetheless... hey. That's a good idea. I'm going to try that.

    ReplyDelete
  99. 'Choose one mouse we must !'
I actually like all Star Wars mice cause I think they are all so cleverly designed. I can already see them all playing in a Star Wars remake together. If I had to pick one of the Star Wars mice, I would go for Chewbacca because he looks as cuddly as a mouse as he does in the movies...

    ReplyDelete
  100. my favorite mouse is the geeky mouse with the MacBook :)

    ReplyDelete
  101. Oh my! What a store! I love Terry the mouse in a cat suit! How neat!

    ReplyDelete
  104. The Edward and Bella mice are cute!

    ReplyDelete
  105. Zodiac Mice! Ha! Now you need to make a Zodiac Killer Mouse, and you'll be all set!

Happy Thanksgiving (extended overseas from here in the states), and incidentally, while all of the yummy smells of yumminess waft up to the office and down to the studio? Frida Mouse would be TOTALLY WELCOME to join us for late eats! Leftovers. I'll throw a jalapeno on the cheese for her.

    ReplyDelete
  106. Ever thought of doing a Vanilla Mice Mouse? He can sing "Mice Mice Baby" and become famous for fifteen minutes, then resentfully reappear tatted down to hit the reality show circuit and kick chairs. Only because he'd be a mouse, it would be cute.

    ReplyDelete
  107. Mouse has so many great items that it's almost impossible to choose one favorite :)

    anniki@woolmint.com

    ReplyDelete
  108. Emma the Traveling Mouse is lovely!!!
    cal_rubies at yahoo dot es

    ReplyDelete
  109. I love the Hedgeburt McPricklesworth because as I said he looks like the boy I'm in love with. Now he's my boyfriend, and I'd like to have this cute hedgeburt for bringing us lucky :)

I love Chris the Chef Mouse too, I like so much the disney's movie Ratatouille and he reminds me of it!! But every mouse it's lovely, your works are wonderful ^^

    ReplyDelete
  110. Vincent Van Gogh cracks me up!! xoxo

    ReplyDelete
  111. I have two favorite mice!

Mrs. Whiskers the teacher mouse would be perfect for sitting on my desk as I fill out my grad school applications for childhood education in Spring.

Mrs. Applecheeks the librarian made me laugh because the guy I'm dating calls me "applecheeks" and I am a known bibliophile who's worked with books for the last eight years.

I love all of your mice, but these two are awesome!

    <3

    ReplyDelete
  112. I'll tell ya something, I have several associates who would also just love the Frida Mouse, but I'll be danged if I give her up, should I get her. I'm not going to pretend to be all altruistic here. This is pure selfishness. I want that adorable mousita, and I want to taunt all of those who enter my studio by saying, "Yes, she IS sweet, isn't she? No, you can't have her." (Though I would be delighted to give them your card.)

    ReplyDelete
  113. All this delicious turkey leftover yum has me sleepy, but not as sleepy as my dog, who cannot, in the wake of turkey giblets and rice, keep his eyes open.

Just think of what some turkey jalapeno casserole could do for Frida Mouse.

    ReplyDelete
  114. (It's a sad fact that I seem to have a computer keyboard that was manufactured pre-accent mark, umlaut, or wavy thing above the letter N that lets you know it's supposed to be pronounced like the first N in onion. Tilde? Tid... whatever. Yeah, this thing is actually made out of wood and stone.)

(But that doesn't mean we can't cook good cheesey Mexican meals for that chulita Fridita.)

    ReplyDelete
  115. What wonderful little mice! My daughter and I, not to mention my husband the Star Wars geek who was looking over our shoulder, had a great time looking at all the mice. My daughter, Katie (knitter in training), would love one of each please. :)

Katie's favourite is Pearl the Knitting Mouse. My husband looooves the Ewok. And my pick would be Nona the Cellist.

    ReplyDelete
  116. Oh oh! Now my son saw them. He really likes Terry the Mouse in the Cat Suit, but he really figures that you should have Pokemon mice.

    ReplyDelete
  117. There are so many that I love, but my all time favorite is still the bellydancer mouse. I am a bellydancer, so of course I love it the most. :)

    ReplyDelete
  118. I'm thinking that Frida would want a mouse sized mirror, perhaps with some decorations on it, like a banner with her name, a dove, flowers, and cheese. Ironically, I have a mouse sized mirror. Hmmmm. Perhaps Frida Mouse should come live with me.

    ReplyDelete
  119. Wait, that's not irony, that's coincidence. Or even convenience. A mouse sized mirror that can be neatly affixed to a nicho of Fridita's very own, so she has a little mouse house, which can be called Casita Mousita!

    ReplyDelete
  120. Maybe I'm laying it on a little thick here, all this talk of jalapeno cheese, and mouse casitas, and Diego traps. It could be I'm going overboard. But it's your own fault, Anna, because (1) your mice are just way too cute, and (2) I've actually had DREAMS about them. Your mice are invading my dreams. So you have only yourself to blame for all of this nattering on about Fridita. Who, in one dream, showed up as a pair, with a Frida Mouse in her current incarnation in your shop, and a second Frida Mouse, wearing a red dress and green earrings. The earrings were made of tiny beads, in a loop. And for some reason this red Frida Mouse was on the floor of my bedroom when I walked in, looking at me. Yeah, that was my dream. So, I blame you.
    ;)

    ReplyDelete
  121. i'm dying to give my best friend boba fett mouse!

    ReplyDelete
  122. My husband would loooove the Yoda mouse, definitely up his alley, hee hee.

    ReplyDelete
  123. I love Ewok mouse...I've been in love with the Ewoks since the first time I saw Star Wars!

    ReplyDelete
  124. And Nona the Cellist mouse would be sweet for my two littlies who love music so much!

    ReplyDelete
  125. Still love Flower the Hippy mouse, would like her for my own

    ReplyDelete
  126. Rudolph the red nose mouse is so adorable! I'd love to give it to my friend as a birthday/christmas present! Pick me :D

    ReplyDelete
  127. it's hard to choose, but i managed to go with the heart so a star wars mouse is the pick, and then it was easy. Becuase how can you not love yoda mouse, for the force is strong with him

    ReplyDelete
  128. I love these mouses ! Each one has his or her or it's own story depending on the character . Everything is beautifully crafted :)

    ReplyDelete
  129. Since I have been a nurse over 25 years, the nurse mouse is near and dear to my heart!

    ReplyDelete
  130. I love Chewbacca and Yoda Mouse but as a teacher Mrs Whiskers it'me!
    All of them are adorable!

    ReplyDelete
  135. I really love your Boba Fet mouse. The attention to detail is so great!

    ReplyDelete
  136. The last day of the contest, eh? Hmm. And last night I dreamt the Frida Mouse was about the size of a thimble. I was staring at her thinking How the heck does she make them so SMALL?

    ReplyDelete
  137. I also love Aragorn the mouse as well! :) Theresa

    ReplyDelete
  138. Oh how lovely! I love the Dumble Dormouse! He's my favorite, I think...

    ReplyDelete
  139. Trying again to win the Dr. Who Mouse, my most favorite mouse!

    ReplyDelete
  140. I love Frida Kahlo Mouse!!! One of my other fav's is David the Photographer!! SO CUTE!

    ReplyDelete
  141. My fav is the anti-mouse, your little hedgehog. He is sooo cute!

    ReplyDelete
  142. Oh my goodness, these little fellows are so sweet! Terry the Mouse in a Cat Suit would be warmly welcomed by my three cats.

    ReplyDelete
  143. A diehard Marx Brothers fan, I adore the Groucho Marx mouse! I wish you had a Harpo Mouse. I play the harp, because of him. Well, Harpo Marx, not Mouse.

Your designs are precious and humorous, and your attention to detail is WONDERFUL. I just found your store, thanks to a "tweet." Were I you, I'd be crowing with pride, not chirping.

Also, your mice remind me of a little, stuffed mouse toy that I had as a child. This was long before Beanie Babies. I cherished that little thing, as it was given to me by my mother. Over the years and several moves, I'm not sure what became of it. But your delightful creations remind me my special toy, bring back many fond memories and leave a heartfelt smile on my face.

    Thank you and Happy Holidays!

    Sincerely,

    Izzy Moon

  144. Frida Frida
    Cara mia
    So not callow
    So not shallow
    Perfect Mouse
    For my house
    Come have cheese!
    A life of ease!

    ReplyDelete
  145. Is it over?

Should I mention that I do not have a cat? That the dog is a strange creature that pays no attention to objects sitting out around the house? That all guests to my studio are frisked upon exiting so they will not stash items in their pockets? That a Ninja guards the Frida altar? (You can't see the Ninja. The Ninja is That Good.)

All of this to say, Frida Mouse would be not only welcome, but safe and sound...

    ReplyDelete
  146. I adore all of your Mice. The Angel mouse is especially beautiful!

    ReplyDelete
